Fountain Timber approached Sonder with a significant challenge: to migrate their extensive e-commerce platform to a new system, enhancing their online sales capabilities. With over 200 products available online, their goal was to shift the balance from in-yard purchases to a more robust online ordering system.
In addition to the migration, Fountain Timber sought a digital partner to assist in scaling their online presence. Our role encompassed a range of services, including Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising, and integrating order management with their Point of Sale (POS) system.
Fountain Timber are a veteran timber yard set in lush woodland for custom-made fencing, sleepers, gates and garden sheds. Based in Bristol, they've been supplying high quality timber products to meet the ever changing needs of customers for over 60 years.
The migration of such a large website into our Envelope system, while integrating with their bespoke POS system, was a complex task. We executed a carefully phased switchover over several months, meticulously managing Google indexing to maintain their SEO standing.
Once the migration was successfully completed, our focus shifted to a comprehensive marketing strategy. We continuously work on enhancing the website's user experience and achieving SEO objectives, alongside seasonally targeted outbound marketing campaigns to promote various product ranges.
